This is the main course in Gordon Ramsay's Cookalong Live at Fox. Now don't be discouraged by the number of ingredients for this one. I know the list is lengthy but that includes ingredients for the sides too. I was overwhelmed myself when I saw what I was supposed to purchase on my next food shopping. But hey, if you want a creamy fancier way to present your steak, this is for you.
Note: I did not use the flambée method -- too chicken to do it ... lol.
So I enjoy cooking. I didn't realize that until hubby introduced Gordon Ramsay to me (not personally of course...lol) I put too much work on it so I might as well blog about it :D

Quick Tiramisu
I learned about this delectable classic Italian dessert through the Gordon Ramsay Cookalong Live at Fox. It was aired around December of last year. I did not cookalong (no TV in the kitchen) but hubby forced me (with a shotgun in hand...lol) to become versed with the directions. He wanted to have those meals for our Christmas dinner. PSH. Our table will look so bare with just three courses! That didn't sit well with me but the kids were on his side. Ungrateful. LOL.

Egg Pie (blogging as it bakes)
It's Pi Day. Naturally, Yna would badger me to make a pie today. And so I did. I'm a little anxious of the outcome because the crust is a bit thick. I used a silicon mat so I don't have much space to work on. I don't know if the thickness of the crust will affect the cooking time.
I checked 10 minutes before it's done. I turned the pie around to even out the browning of the top and the filling started to move in a wavy motion ... lol. Please don't tell me I messed up!

Chicken Tinola
Bored to death with my old recipes, I was in need of a new one. I saw Chicken Tinola while I was browsing through http://panlasangpinoy.com. Yes, I am a big fan! So far, all of the recipes I followed were all so good. He never disappoints.
It isn't a new recipe but I have chicken and spinach in the fridge. It's been very cold all week (a couple of weeks earlier) so I thought a steaming hot tinola would be a perfect meal.

Sans Rival
I know, this is "diabetically" wrong for me. But come on, would you pass on the chance at having a bite (or two, or sixty, depending on your appetite) from this insanely delightful amalgamation of egg, butter and sugar? The crispy cashew wafer and smooth butter cream are just divine. It is one of those few foods that can be classified as 'foodgasmic' – if made right.
