This is an easy to prepare pasta I learned from my sister-in-law, Myla. Let me be clear that this is just "our version" of the Carbonara. I am aware that with the "Real Carbonara", Italians do not use cream but use eggs instead and a lot of pecorino and parmesan cheese. I frankly do not know how that would taste (and I would love to try it someday) but I am confident our version is comparable to the classic Italian cuisine. This is even better than CPK's version (according to my kids!).
So I enjoy cooking. I didn't realize that until hubby introduced Gordon Ramsay to me (not personally of course...lol) I put too much work on it so I might as well blog about it :D

Baked Pork Chops with a Piquant Sauce
I wanted a pork chop recipe that's totally new, different, yet very flavorful. I searched through Gordon Ramsay's endless list of recipes and found this. When I saw the can of tomatoes as one of the ingredients, I was a bit skeptical about how it will turn out. Although I assumed it tasted like tomato sauce, I was anticipating a taste particularly different from a spaghetti sauce.
The taste was certainly distinctive. The thyme, rosemary, garlic
